Activities/Thematic Focus
- Developing programmatic concepts, where possible involving land users from an early stage, for the integration of nature conservation aims and activities into land use and for safeguarding and fostering biodiversity
- Formulating new objectives and strategies, visions, manuals, guidelines, position statements, policy contributions etc. in line with the above for the various user groups
- Enforcement of the German Genetic Engineering Act, assessment of genetically modified organisms from a nature conservation standpoint and formulation of approaches and measures for risk minimisation and safety research in agro-genetic engineering
