The Federal Agency for Nature Conservation is the German Management Authority for the implementation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in the Federal Republic of Germany. Current issues

 NEW: The Regulation (EU) 2017/160 for the implementation of the decisions of the 17. CITES-Conference of the Parties will come into effect on 04.02.2017. The new listed species will be subject to the provisions for import and export from this day on.
