The one-week programme at the International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm is an integral part of the six-months international postgraduate training programme "Environmental Management for Developing and Emerging Countries" which runs for the 45th time in 2022, from January to July, at the Centre for International Postgraduate Studies of Environmental Management (CIPSEM) at Technical University Dresden. This international UNEP/UNESCO/BMU studies programme is a German contribution to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The one-week module on Vilm aims at enhancing knowledge and skills in international conservation conventions, in sustainable use and conservation of biodiversity and in marine conservation. It will also inform about Germany's activities in international conservation cooperation.
