The one-week programme by the International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm is an integral part of the international postgraduate training programme "Environmental Management for Developing and Emerging Countries". The six-month training programme runs for the 46th time in 2023, from January to July, organised the Centre for International Postgraduate Studies of Environmental Management (CIPSEM) at Technical University Dresden. As an international UNEP/UNESCO/BMU studies programme it is a German contribution to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The online module organised by the Academy aims at enhancing knowledge and skills in international conservation conventions, in sustainable use and conservation of biodiversity and in marine conservation. It also informs about Germany's activities in international conservation cooperation.
