Getting there
By public transport
- From Bonn Hauptbahnhof (Bonn Central Station), take the train to Bad Godesberg, or the “U-Bahn” (underground/subway) in the direction of Bad Godesberg to “Bad Godesberg Bahnhof”. Take the bus number 610 or 613 in the direction of Bonn-Mehlem (bus stop plan: “Haltestellen-Lageplan Bad Godesberg Bahnhof”) to “Wendelstadtallee”, then continue on foot in the same direction as the bus for about 100 m. BfN is on the right.
or - Take a train to Bonn-Mehlem. It is then an approximately 10-minute walk: Follow the main road towards Bonn for about 400 metres and cross at the traffic lights to take the road to the right (“Im Erdbeerfeld”). Turn left at the end into Konstantinstrasse and walk approximately another 400 metres to BfN, which is on the left.
By car
- From Bonn, take the B9 main road in the direction of Bad Godesberg and follow the signs for Koblenz through the tunnel. After the tunnel, turn left at the next set of traffic lights into “Am Erdbeerfeld” and left again onto Konstantinstrasse. BfN is on the left after about 400 metres. There is on-site parking.
By plane
- Cologne Bonn Airport, continue with the airport bus to Bonn Hauptbahnhof (Bonn Central Station), then as above for public transport.
