This seminar features a contemporary understanding of biodiversity finance and a broad-based perspective that considers the multiple dimensions of financial sustainability. It intends to shed light particularly on the enabling conditions for biodiversity finance and explores various financial mechanisms and solutions that can support biodiversity conservation and sustainable use effectively. It also addresses developments in the financial sector, for example at methodological frameworks to translate biodiversity risks into financial risks.
