The collaboration between the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) and the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) is based on a cooperation agreement. The central goal is to gather and further develop expertise for use in policy advice, also at the intersection of biodiversity and climate change. A workshop on the topic of ‘Improved monitoring for better integrated climate and biodiversity approaches, using environmental and earth observation’ will be held this year.
