The International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm (INA) offers around 60 workshops, closed meetings, conferences and training courses every year on issues of national and international nature conservation, many in cooperation with other organisations. These bring together representatives from authorities and science, politics and business, associations and foundations as well as students from all over the world to exchange ideas and jointly develop new solutions for the conservation of nature.

Summer School on Environmental Psychology

Target audience
International summer school for PhD students and other early-career researchers working in environmental psychology, with internationally renowned researchers as teachers.

The Federal Agency for Nature Conservation, in close collaboration with researchers from the Universities of Koblenz-Landau and Leipzig, organizes a summer school on environmental psychology to offer room for presenting and discussing current and future environmental psychology research, with a particular focus on nature awareness and the gap between knowledge, attitude and action. The summer school focuses on results, theory and methods of empirical psychology research on environmental and nature protection issues, as well as on their practical relevance (e.g., in designing interventions or communication strategies for nature and environmental protection).

Please note the cancellation regulations for this particular event:
Participants who cancel their participation after 10 May 2021 will be charged 80% of the accommodation and boarding costs for the whole summer school, unless a replacement candidate approved by the organisers can participate in their stead.
Participants arriving later than announced have to cover the original appointed services.
