The food package provided includes:

We predominantly offer organic and regional food. The regional focus ensures short transportation routes, fresh products and support for the local economy. Apples and pears from the own orchard complement our menu, and we receive fish freshly caught from Rügen Island.

In principle, we offer vegetarian lunch only .
With this, we aim to lower our ecological footprint and to contribute to climate protection and nature conservation. However, the organisers might order fish and meat dishes prior to the event.

On Vilm you get the chance to taste our seasonal specialties such as herring in spring and autumn, garfish in early summer, wild garlic soup, sea buckthorn juice and Rügen cabbage dishes. We serve vegetables and fruit of the season, freshly harvested and brought on short routes.

Our coffee and tea is organically grown and fairly traded. For those products that have been awarded the FairTrade-certificate, small farmers from Asia, Latin America and Africa receive a fairer and more stable price. This helps to reduce the logging pressure on tropical rainforests.
