31 young scientists from German universities and various disciplines met to present the results of their current biodiversity research and to discuss them together in an interdisciplinary setting.
The topics ranged from blue carbon systems in the coastal mangroves of Gambia over bat health and biodiversity to innovative approaches to improving cooperation between stakeholders in nature conservation.
For over 20 years, BfN has hosted an annual interdisciplinary conference for young scientists working in current biodiversity research. It was a fantastic week that provided everyone involved with a wealth of valuable, interesting, and new information.
