Description

On behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN), detailed information on the nature awareness of the German-speaking adult population has been being collected every two years since 2009 and published as a nature awareness study. In the current study, a separate survey of nature awareness among young people was carried out for the first time.

The objective of the study is to gain key information about young people’s knowledge, attitudes, and willingness to take action in the context of nature, nature conservation, and biodiversity.
