Information for Your Stay on Vilm

In order to guarantee a pleasant stay on the Isle of Vilm, please take note of the following:

  • Along with your registration, you automatically receive a reservation for a room in one of our guest houses, including full board.
  • The Isle of Vilm is situated in a nature reserve. Please stick to the paths!
  • Please note that there are ticks on Vilm which may be infected with the borreliosis pathogens (Lyme disease).
  • Sturdy shoes for the round tour on the "Great Vilm" are recommended.
  • Walking the pathways happens at own risk.
  • Binoculars and flash lights cannot be provided and have to be brought along if required.
  • Pets are not allowed on the Isle of Vilm.
  • Cigarettes cannot be purchased on the isle.
  • Swimming is allowed in the harbor area only and outside the ferry times.
  • There are no shops on the Isle of Vilm. However, it is possible to purchase beverages and snacks.
  • There is no ATM (cash machine) on the Isle of Vilm. Cash is needed to pay for consumed beverages.
