Notes on habitat mapping
The precondition for assignment to this habitat type is the presence of vegetation of the syntaxa given above.
The entire area of the rock face that is free of woodland and scrub should be included if considerable sections host the relevant vegetation.
Occurrences in open former quarried sites and which are subject to near-natural development are included (e.g. quarries, rocky slopes cut for transport routes). Active quarries as well as secondary occurrences on walls are not included.
