International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm

The International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm (INA) welcomes around 1,700 participants each year. Around 60 events and training courses on issues with relevance to nature conservation on national and international level take place annually. Established in 1990, the INA is a forum for ideas, capacity building and networking.

The conference centre located within the beautiful nature of the small Isle of Vilm near Rügen in the Baltic Sea offers the best conditions for undisturbed and efficient work. Organisations planning events on topics related to nature conservation and environmental protection can also rent the guest houses and conference rooms for their own seminars, workshops or retreats.

The INA is part of a branch office of the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN). The Academy and the central administration of the branch office Isle of Vilm form the staff unit "International Academy for Nature Conservation, Administration of Vilm".

Since the end of July 2020, the INA has been running its conference operations in compliance with the corona requirements. We are available for you by phone (+49 38301 86-141) or e-mail (ina.vilm@bfn.de).

For any questions regarding touristic excursions, kindly contact the Fahrgastreederei Lenz (phone: +49 38301-61896).
