The 25th meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) will take place in Nairobi/Kenya in October 2023. The aim of the workshop on Vilm Island is to stimulate a focused discussion and allow for an in-depth preparation of the issues which will be dealt with at SBSTTA-25.

The workshop will serve as a regional meeting for European biodiversity experts to elaborate recommendations and concrete proposals which will feed directly into the international negotiation process.
