The target group of this document are individuals and organisations planning to initiate and implement a nature restoration project. The publication highlights key steps and offers questions for self-reflection that can aid stakeholder engagement processes at the local level. The document summarizes key findings from the international expert workshop “Making people part of ecosystem restoration in Europe”, held by BfN on 17th-19th October 2023 in Bonn, Germany.
