The workshop provides a platform for participants to become more acquainted with the processes under the CBD and to learn about the most recent developments within the field of synthetic biology, including the convergence of synthetic biology with generative artificial intelligence. Drawing on international expertise in the field, the focus will be on state-of-the-art knowledge and methodological skills for the assessment of synthetic biology with regard to the objectives of the convention.
