The twelfth Session of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES 12) will take place in February 2026, in the UK. The aim of the workshop on Vilm Island is to stimulate discussions and in-depth preparation of the issues which will be dealt with at IPBES 12. The workshop will serve as a regional meeting for European biodiversity experts to elaborate recommendations and concrete proposals for the international negotiation process.
