The report aims to inspire and equip all those working toward a sustainable and socially just future through Nature-based Solutions. It distils the lessons learnt from research and practice, providing a theoretical framework, overview of existing guidance materials, and practical examples to: 

• define and better understand the social dimension of NbS
• support social safeguarding and promote transdisciplinary, participatory NbS design and implementation
• enhance the societal benefits of NbS.
