The Workshop is part of a study tour on coastal wetland management in Germany. Different options for mangrove management and mangrove restoration in arid regions & options for afforestation of new mangrove areas will be presented and discussed; past activities, challenges and lessons learnt in mangrove restoration in Oman will be reflected upon; We will do a first brainstorming for the setting of goals and criteria for mangrove restoration in Oman.
